Asymmetric digital subscriber line (ADSL) is a type of DSL broadband technology used for connecting to the Internet. ADSL allows more data to be sent over existing copper telephone lines, when compared to traditional modem lines. We have a range of offerings here at Sunny Broadband so get in touch to find out more!
Fibre Optic is available in two types - (FTTC) Fibre to the Cabinet where the wire from the exchange to the cabinet is fibre, it is then brought into your home via copper cable. (FTTP) Fibre to the Premises is where the wire all the way to your property if fibre, however, this isn't available to many residential addresses at the moment.
Leased Lines are the ultimate business broadband connection between your office and the local exchange; delivering superfast broadband speeds with the strongest reliability. Leased Lines carry your voice and data over a stable connection; regardless of the time of day or location. Leased Lines also deliver symmetrical upload and download speeds of up to 10Gbps.
Line rental is required for the majority of our broadband packages, this is quite literally a fee for renting the copper wiring that runs to your home - all lines are managed by Openreach and as such must be rented from them. This is also the option for you if you don't want internet but you want a landline phone.
